Our January walks continue along the Stour Valley.

On Saturday 24 January, we will be walking from the Lamarsh Lion (CO8 5EP) to Bures, coming back via Ferriers Barn and touching on Alphamstone. This is a 4-mile walk right on the beautiful Essex/Suffolk border. We meet at the Lamarsh Lion at 10am.

On Wednesday 28 January we will do a longer walk in the same area but starting in Bures from the Eight Bells (CO8 5AE). The route is from Bures to Lamarsh, then into Alphamstone, passing Clees Hall then Ferriers Barn before returning to Bures. This is 5.6 miles long and a little hillier than the Saturday walk. We meet at the Eight Bells in Bures at 10am.
